The Saturday before Easter Sunday

On the Saturday
before Easter Sunday.
The mail train stops outside.

A police siren
sounds close
to the road.

And I feel angry
about some
unintended sleight
.

Outside the city
breathes slowly.
Exhaling and inhaling.

And I wait
at the precipice
for the end.

For a movement.
For it all
to be over.
