The sweeping-up at  Brewery Road.
John Berryman climbs on board,
with wild grey hair and bushy beard.
Canal boats and barges,
glistening in Grand Union water.
A hundred hi-vis men fill Crinan Street.
On Pentonville Road a tee-shirt declares:
I was born ready.
Brown shutters hang low.
Black laddered tights walk the walk,
at St Pancreas International.
Discarded false teeth on an old church green.
Then left into Gower, for UCH and UCL.
